Non - Genetic Conditions

A non genetic condition is something that the dog has managed to acquire through no fault of his breeding. These can be parasites such as fleas, or injuries through rough play.

The same as with genetic conditions these can be extremely serious complaints that need prompt veterinary care to ensure the health and well being of your puppy or dog.

The good thing about non genetic conditions is that they are often easily and cheaply prevented. And if not prevented then can be cured with out too much fuss or expense.

Here we have listed some of the most frequently seen conditions but the list is certainly not exhaustive. If you think there maybe something the matter with your dog then you should take him to the vet as quickly as possible.

The most commonly encountered problems include:

Fleas >>>

Heartworm >>>

Ticks.

Mange.

Alergies.

Canine Parvo Virus.

Canine Distemper Virus.
