Dog Breed Types:

There are hundreds of different breeds of dog to choose from and you need to think carefully about the characteristics you want before you choose a puppy.

The ease of training and even the dog training method you employ will be strongly influenced by the type of breed you choose.

Pastoral Dogs

Dogs bred to herd sheep and cattle. Being a working breed these dogs need to be kept busy and active to prevent boredom related problems. These are usually among the most intelligent dogs and many are wonderful to train, picking up even the most complicated of tricks easily.
