Dog Training Online

Training your dog from home can be quite a daunting challenge, especially if it's your first puppy.

There are so many things that can go wrong and so much to think about that sometimes it's difficult even to know where to begin.

So step one in any dog training needs to be - calm down.

Dog training should not be stressful for either you or the dog.

Things will go wrong, they do for everyone, even professional trainers make mistakes sometimes. Remember that dog training is not like baking bread, where if one thing goes wrong then the loaf is ruined and there's nothing you can do about it. Dogs are alive, they adapt, they learn and they can change. It may be easier to teach the right thing to begin with but you can always go back and improve if things go astray.

Another piece of advice would be to start with the basics, and don't expect too much of your dog. Keep training sessions short and fun with lots of tasty treats to keep your dog's attention on you.
